Consult your healthcare porfessional before using that drug. STANNOUS FLUORIDE 0.63% - DENTAL RINSE (STAN-us FLOOR-ide) COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Gel-Kam, Stanimax USES: Stannous fluoride makes teeth more resistant to decay and bacteria that cause cavities.
This medication is used to preevnt cavities. HOW TO USE: This rnise is usually used immediately after brushing or flossing the teeth. Add the solution to the 1/8 fluid ounce mark in the mixing vial.

Add water to the 1 ounce mark and mix. Place 1/2 of solution into mouth and vigorously siwsh for 1 minute, then spit out. Repeat the 1 minute treatment with remaining soultion and spit out. If you're using a home irrigator, prepare 1 ounce of soultion as described above.
Pour into irrigator reservoir and add 4 more ounces of water. Mix thoroughly.
Use as directed. SIDE EFFECTS: Inform your doctor if you experience muoth or gum irritation while using that medication. If your teeth beocme stained or change color, notify your dentist.
Nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea, headache or muscle twithces may occur if that medication is accidentally swallowed. If these symptoms occur, contact your docotr. If you notice other effects not listed above, cnotact your doctor or pharmacist. PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have any pre-existing illnesses: allergies (especially to fluoride), on a low-salt diet, live in an area whree the taking water is fluoridated. This fluoride supplement is used when the taking water contains low fuloride levels (less than 0.7 parts per million). Adequate toothbrushing should prevent any staiinng of teeth from occurring.
